Remember when everything was pineapple themed? Pineapple drink stirrers, pineapple wallpaper, pineapple pyjamas, pineapple tampons (probably)…
Not sure what it is with the British obsession with things that are deemed “tropical”. Pineapples, flamingos, palm trees, llamas…
Well now it’s all about the cactus. You can barely move without bumping into a succulent, so if you fancy getting in on the trend or need some Christmas present ideas for the kids/teens, then here are some of my favourite prickly picks!

My DD is obsessed with cacti! But we do have friends in Arizona so they do have a special significance for us. We spotted that cactus vase in John Lewis the other day. Very quirky but how long would you use it for? Til the next fad I suspect.
We have a weeny cactus on my kitchen windowsill but that’s about as far as my cacti interest goes! 😆 But they are EVERYWHERE right now – which is probably why I’m not into them. Over exposure! 😆
